Five Raiders Earn All-League Honors
The PNCLL announced the All-League Awards and five Raiders made the list. Sr. Captain #42 Joey Moseanko was named the 2012 PNCLL Defensive Player of the Year. Joey joins SOU Alum Dan Snell and Carter Boggess making him the third Raider to earn this award. Joey was also named to the 1st team PNCLL Defense. Sophomore #13 Tom Halley was named to the 1st team Attack. Tom led the Raiders in scoring this season tallying 44 goals and 26 assists averaging 5.385 ppg. Sr. Captain #11 Sean McQuown earned 2nd team Midfield. Sean ends his SOU career as the only Raider in history to be a 4 year captain. Grad. student Captain #2 Pat Verdun was named to the PNCLL Honorable Mention team for Midfield. Pat was 2nd on the team in goals scored this season putting in 34 goals. Freshman #18 AJ Chase was named to the PNCLL Honorable Mention for Attack. AJ tallied 62 points in his first season as a Raider scoring 30 goals and leading the Raiders with 32 assists.
