SOU Improves to 8-3
SOU travelled to Idaho and Washington this weekend to take on College of Idaho and Central Washington University. SOU won both games by the combined score of 38-17 to move to 8-3 on the season. SOU was led by two Sophomores vs College of Idaho as #13 Tom Halley scored 7 goals on 8 shots and Sophomore #44 Defenseman Justin Cooper tallied an assist, cleared the ball well, and had several GB's. Sunday SOU was led by Grad. Student Captain #2 Pat Verdun who scored 3 goals and continued to show why he is such a great leader through his effort and attitude. Sr.Defensive Captain #42 Joey Moseanko scored his first goal of the season splitting from right to left after clearing the ball to beat the CWU goalie. SOU now has a weekend off before hosting their in-state rivals the Western Oregon Wolves on Saturday 4/21 at 1pm.
