SOU earns highest national rankings in history
SOU is currently 10-1 on the year which earned us our highest ranking in team history. The current MCLA Lax Mag poll puts SOU at #10 in the nation while the collegelax.us coaches poll has SOU at #13 in the nation. Our highest ranking before these polls was #14 in the nation achieved in 2007. Highlights of the year so far include defeating our rivals of Western Oregon, on the road, 10-8 to start the season, defeating both D1 teams that we have played in Nevada and San Jose St., sweeping our spring break trip, and defending our home field. Next game is Friday 4/10 @4pm vs. Dominican University, whom will be a NCAA D2 team next year, followed by a league game on Saturday 4/11 @1pm vs. the University of Portland.
