SOU secures a playoff birth
For the third straight year, SOU secured a playoff birth by defeating the College of Idaho in Ashland on Saturday by the score of 15-7. Our Attack really took control of this game scoring 11 of our 15 goals. Snell added 2 goals as he controlled the face-offs and led the break. Sunday SOU hosted Whitman in a game that had playoff seeding implications. It was a tremendous battle. SOU was playing with only 12 guys which ended up being our down fall. We led going into the 4th by 2 but weren't able to score at all in the 4th. Whitman capitalized on 2 EMO goals and some defensive breakdowns to win the game 13-10. SOU will travel back to Bellingham to face Western Washington in the first round of the playoffs next weekend.
