SOU defeats PLU 15-3Mar. 16, 2008 SOU bounced back after their tough loss last weekend by defeating Pacific Lutheran Univ. 15-3 in Salem, OR yesterday. SOU came out wanting to prove to themselves that they are a much better team than they showed last week and they did just that. #1 Dan Snell won the opening f/o and took it in for a goal just 7 seconds into the game. Snell also led the defense by holding the Leagues leading scorer, #22 Nick Tkachuk of PLU, to just 1 goal. Offensively we were very aggressive taking 40 shots. #20 Alex White scored 3 goals and handed out 1 assist while #22 Drew Arneson put in 4 goals of his own to lead the offense. Freshman middie #14 Nate Gregg scored his first career goal and followed it with a second less than 2 minutes later. Everyone on the team played well and finally showed what we are capable of. We look to build momentum off of this win for our 2 home games next weekend vs. Humboldt St. and San Jose St.
