#8 College Of Idaho Throttles SOU
Ashland, OR- The #8 team in the Nation College of Idaho came to Ashland Sunday and dismantled the Raiders. The Yotes scored 5 goals in less then the first 5 minutes and never looked back. The 3rd qt. was the only bright spot for SOU as it was a 4-3 qt in favor of C of I. It was the most goals given up by SOU in team history as C of I scored their 30th goal of the game with 1:20 to go. C of I opted to get their two freshman starting attack lots of work in the blowout having them play the entire 60 minutes of the game. Ron Burgundy has a saying... Being a Varsity Team playing in MCLA D2 sure looks fun! Hopefully SOU will make that move soon also. The loss puts SOU at 4-3 on the season and 1-1 in the PNCLL South division. SOU hosts the Pilots from Portland University on Saturday with a playoff spot on the line. Game time is 5pm in Raider Stadium.
