Dayton Ends SOU's Season

The Defending National Champions proved to be too much for the Raiders.

18 Raiders took on 44 Dayton Flyers on Monday in the first round of the MCLA National Championship Tournament.  While the Flyers displayed why they won the 2015 Championship the Raiders had some bright spots in their first ever appearance at Nationals, the biggest being the heart, hustle, and sportsmanship displayed by the Raiders.  Sr. Goalie #14 Connor Kelley broke the MCLA National Tournament Record for most saves in a game with 26.  #23 Taylor Harrison grabbed 10 groundballs and dished out 1 assist.  Sr. Attack #26 Scott Murphy led the Raiders with 2 goals.

Hats off to the Flyers for a great game.

SOU will finish off their season with a consolation game vs. the PCLL Champions Bridgewater St. from Massachusets.
