Nine Raiders Earn All-PNCLL Honors

In the year of firsts for the SOU Raiders another record was set with 9 players garnering PNCLL Awards.

Sr. Goalie #14 Connor Kelley was named to the first team and was also named Defensive Player of the Year, making him the 4th Raider to Earn this Award.  Kelley recorded 166 saves and a save percentage of 66.4%.

Jr. LSM #23 Taylor Harrison was put on the 1st Team for the 2nd straight season.  Harrison recorded a SOU record 108 groundballs in the season.  Harrison scored 6 goals, dished out 10 assists, and led the team in caused turnovers.

Sr. Defenseman #39 Josh Barnhart was also named to the 1st Team All PNCLL.  For his first 3 seasons as a Raider Josh split time in the Goal with Kelley.  The SOU Coaches made the decision to move Barnhart to close defense for the 2016 season.  #39 stepped up routinely guarding the opponents best attackman. 

Jr. Midfielder #7 Ari Feldman was named to the 2nd team.  Feldman was 3rd on the scoring list for the Raiders tallying 29 goals and 13 assists including the game winner in double OT at Santa Cruz early in the season. 

Jr. Face-off Specialist #6- Harley Humphrey was named to the 2nd Team also.  Harley 172 of 263 face-offs taken giving him a 65.4% win percentage.  Harley was 2nd on the team with 61 groundballs for the Raiders.

SOU's Leading scorer for the season #22 David Mungeam was placed on the Honorable Mention All PNCLL Team.  Mungeam scored 35 goals, handed out 15 assists, and led the team with 3 goals in the PNCLL Championship Game from his Attack position.

SOU's 2nd Leading scorer #29 Spencer Pregal was named Honorable Mention too.  Pregal scored 30 goals and 17 assists.  Pregal is now known as the OT Killer as he scored the game winning goals in 2 of the 3 Raider OT games this season including the dagger vs Western Washington in the PNCLL Semi-Finals.

Sr. Captain #57 Ian Wilborn was finally recognized by the League with a Honorable Mention nod.  Ian has been the workhorse for the Raiders Midfield for four straight seasons.  Ian tallied 11 goals and 11 assists in his Senior Season.

Sr. Captain #31 Killian Spicer-Torreblanca was named Honorable Mention Defensemen for his Sr. Season.  Killian came to SOU as a Goalie and was the starter for the Raiders in his first season.  Killian was asked to move to Defense upon the arrivals of Kelley and Barnhart in his Sophmore year.  Last season Killian served our Country in Afghanistan.  Killian returned safely to SOU to grab up 24 groundballs and hand out 1 assist.
