SOU traveled to Portland to take on the Pilots for their Senior Day on Sunday.

SOU scored quickly as #29 Spencer Pregal found a cutting #57 Ian Wilborn for the first goal of the game.  #9 answered for the Pilots with an inside roll to tie the game.  Freshman #1 Andre Morris scored on EMO and then #4 Ari Feldman found Morris open to make the game 3-1 after one.

Portland tallied the first goal of the 2nd to pull the Pilots w/n 1 but then it was all Raiders.  SOU's Defense kept Portland off the scoreboard for the next 39 minutes of the game.  Sr. Goalie #14 Connor Kelley recorded 20 saves for the 2nd straight game making him probably the only Raider Goalie ever to do so.  SOU's ride and defense caused 26 Portland turnovers.  SOU's Man Down Defense continued it's stellar play denying Portland on all 5 of their EMO attempts.

In a repeat of the Raiders 3rd goal, #4 Feldman found #1 Morris again to push the Raiders lead to 4-2 at the half.

#20 Scott Comer buried a feed from Sr. Captain Defensemen #31- Killian Spicer-Torreblanca.  #22 David Mungeam followed that up with a goal assisted by #17 Garrett Greenway making the score 6-2 after 3 quarters of play.

#4 Feldman got his 3rd assist of the day as he found #26 Scott Murphy open in transition who buried the goal.  Feldman decided he was tired of sharing the ball as he buried a 15 yard shot off hip although his teammate #23 Taylor Harrison was wide open 5 yards from the goal.  #20 Comer scored his 2nd goal of the day to finish the scoring for the Raiders making the game 9-2.  Portland Sr. Defenseman #30 scored with just 30 seconds  to go in the game to make the final 9-3.

Game ball went to #1 Morris for his hat trick in the first half.  Morris also stepped up for injured Face-off Specialist #6 Harley Humphrey going 8-14 at the X.  Morris picked up 7 ground balls and also caused 4 turnovers on the day.

The win moves the Raiders record to 10-2 on the season and 3-0 in the PNCLL South Division which secures them a spot in the Playoffs.

The Raiders will host Western Oregon University Saturday night at 7:30pm for Senior Night.  The winner of the game will be the #1 seed from the PNCLL South and will have a first round bye.  The loser will be the #2 seed and will play the #3 seed from the PNCLL North in the quarter-final round.
