SOU Announces 2014-2015 Captains
SOU Men's Lacrosse Team is pleased to announce our Captains for the 2014-2015 Season. Sophomore Long-Stick Midfielder #23 Taylor Harrison and Junior Midfielder #57 Ian Wilborn were elected to serve as Captains. Harrison becomes only the 2nd player in SOU history to be elected Captain. In his Freshman season Taylor scored 8 goals, 3 assists, recorded 125 ground balls, and caused over 40 turnovers. Taylor was named to the All-PNCLL team and, more importantly, was named a MCLA Scholar Athlete. Taylor brings a very high Lax IQ, athleticism, speed, and intensity every time he steps on the field. Wilborn came to SOU from Phoenix, AZ. From day one Ian has shown an unmatched toughness and work ethic while on the field for the Raiders. Ian is a silent leader, leading by example not words. In his first two seasons Ian has tallied 21 goals, 12 assists, and 51 ground balls while also doing all of the hard work that doesn't make the stat book like defense and clearing the ball. Congratulations to both of you and to the whole team for electing two worthy Captains.
