The 2014-2015 SOU Men's Lacrosse Team is pleased to announce our 13 Game regular season schedule.

SOU will start the season off with two neutral site games at Delta Park in Portland.  First up are the Loggers from the University of Puget Sound on Saturday February 7th at 1pm.  The last time these two teams met was last season in the first round of the PNCLL playoffs, a game the Raiders won.

The following day SOU will take on Pacific Lutheran University at noon at Delta Park.

On Saturday night February 21 7pm in Redding, CA, SOU will take on Humboldt St. University.  This will be the headline game for the Redding Lacrosse Jamboree, an event the Raiders have headlined for the past 4 years, which includes over 40 High School and Youth teams.

The following Saturday SOU heads back to Portland to take on the Portland St. Vikings, who moved down to PNCLL D2 this year which makes this a league game for both teams with playoff implications.

On Sunday March 8th SOU will head back to Redding, CA, this time to take on Sierra Nevada College.  Last season was SNC's first in the WCLL and they went undefeated.  They weren't eligible for playoffs due to being a first year team but they defeated the eventual WCLL Champions the Nevada Wolfpack in the regular season by a score of 23-2.  Coach Brown expects SNC to be a top #10 team in the Nation this year so the challenge will be great in the two teams first ever matchup.

After completing Finals SOU will head down to L.A. for the first two games of Spring Break.  First up are the LumberJacks from Northern Arizona University who are coming off one of their best seasons in history with a record of 9-4 advancing to the SLC Semi-finals.  The game will be held at Biola University on Sunday March 22 at noon.  This will be the first time the two teams have met.

Two days later the Raiders head over to Fullerton,CA to take on Titans who are coming off a 12-2 season and being the runner-ups in the SLC.  Game is on Tuesday March 24th at 4pm.

After traveling more than 2000 miles, and playing teams from 4 states, SOU returns home to wrap up Spring Break with their first two home games.  SOU will be hosting a PNCLL vs WCLL weekend as the Portland Pilots, San Jose St. Spartans, and St. Marys Gaels all come to town.  Portland will take on SMC on Saturday 3/28 at 11am.  SOU will take on SJSU at 1:30.  SJSU is coming off a season in which the advanced to the WCLL Finals for the first time ever.

On Sunday Portland will take on SJSU at 11am followed by the Raiders taking on the SMC Gaels.  This game has become somewhat of an annual out of conference rivalry game for the Raiders who won last years meeting 11-4.

The following weekend the Raiders get to stay home to take on two divisional opponents when Whitman College and the College of Idaho come to Ashland.  These games will both likely have serious playoff implications.

The Raiders wrap up their 5 game home stand when the Portland Pilots come back to town for a night game in Raider Stadium on Saturday April 11th at 7pm.  The Raiders squeked out the victory last season at Portland by the score of 13-11.

The Raiders head to Monmouth, OR, to take on the Western Oregon University Wolves on 4/18 for the Final regular season game.

All in all the Raiders will play 5 neutral site games, 5 home games, and 3 true away games against teams from 4 states, 3 conferences, and featuring two first time ever meetings.

SOU is excited to host all of our home games in Raider Stadium on the new turf field.
