SOU Moves to 4-0 Defeating UC-Santa Cruz 14-4
The game started off tightly contested with a tie game at the end of the 1st 1-1. UCSC started the 2nd up two men and scored to take their only lead in the game 2-1. From that point on it was all SOU as the Raiders Defense held UCSC off the scoreboard for the next 30+ minutes. SOU went on a 12-0 run during that time. SOU finished with 10 goal scorers including #11 Alex Smith's first two goals of his career, Defense Men #9 Matt Kegel's first career goal, and #23 Taylor Harrison's first career assist. Game ball went to Sophmore Goalie #37 Josh Barnhart who faced 41 shots, recorded 18 saves, and only allowed 4 goals.
