The 2016-2017 will be Coach Brown's 13th season as the Head Coach for SOU. During that time SOU has posted a record of 97-65. Coach Brown has been named the PNCLL Coach of the Year 4 times. SOU has had 4 PNCLL Defensive Players of the Year, 10 MCLA All-Americans, and over 30 PNCLL All-League athletes. Coach Brown began playing Lacrosse in Middle School starting on Defense for the undefeated Green Hornets in Howard County, Maryland. At Mt. Hebron High School Coach Brown was one of only two freshman to make the Varsity Team going on to win the State Championship in 1990. At Virginia Tech University Coach Brown started at both LSM and Close Defense helping the Hokies advance as far as the National Semifinals.
