The Broncos defeated West Chester University in the first round of the WDIA National Championship Tournament tonight by a score of 13-7.  The Broncos started the game out slow by going down 2-0.  It would take the Broncos nearly 13 minutes before they would find the net off a feed by Gracie Binder to freshman Mayan Zeitlin.  Zeitlin would score her second goal of the game just two minutes later to tie the game at 2-2.  After Zeitlin's two goals to even the match the Broncos eventually settled down and scored the next five straight to take a 7-2 lead going into the half.  The Broncos had many opportunities to find the net early on but West Chester's goalie kept the Broncos on their heels with multiple saves early in the game.  The Broncos eventually went on to win the game by a margin of 13-7 and will now face the University of Colorado in a quarterfinal match up tomorrow night at 8:30 PM.  The Buffs defeated the University of Georgia tonight in an exciting one-goal overtime thriller.
