The Broncos made quite the entrance at Nationals as they upset the #7 Florida Gators in a 12 to 10 victory. Colorado Springs offered the WCLA players a rainy day of games, but the Broncos pushed through the mud to make it to the quarter finals.

SCU had more to celebrate after the game during the WCLA Awards Ceremony, as Kilsby, Dana was awared Second Team All American Midfielder; Burke, Maggie brought in First Team All American Midfielder as well as the WCLA Midfielder of the Year; lastly, Academic All Americans included Herzog, Jenna, Randall, Emma and McCormick, Kathryn .

The Broncos will be representing Santa Clara yet again in the WCLA National Tournament! The tournament will be held in Colorado Springs, CO from May 8th-11th, and will kick off with a game between the #10 Broncos and the #7 Florida. This weekend the Broncos head back down to Santa Barbara to compete in the WWLL Playoffs. Entering playoffs as the #1 seed, Santa Clara will play the #8 seed, UCLA, for their first game at 12 on Saturday.

The Broncos closed their Spring Break with a trip to Boulder, CO to play against four talented teams in the Mile High Invitational. Such a competitive line-up led to mixed results, as the Broncos suffered a loss against the #1 Colorado State, followed by a big win against the #3 Michigan, a one-goal loss in overtime to CU Boulder, and a final loss against the #2 Georgia. The Mile High Invitational provided the Broncos with  exposure to high-quality teams, and that journey continues this weekend.

On Saturday the Broncos face Sonoma State at 11 AM and head back to Santa Clara to challenge USC at 10 AM. These are the last league games for the Broncos for the 2013 regular season! If you can't catch the games, make sure to follow along on Twitter with @scuwlax.

After a whopping four games at the Santa Barbara Shootout, the Lady Broncos will challenge the Cal Poly Mustangs at Bellomy Field on Friday, February 22nd at 7 PM. After a sunny day in Santa Barbara, the Broncos brought home two wins against Arizona State (13-7) and Pittsburgh (8-7).  Rutherford, Tori had an excellent performance with 11 saves against Pittsburgh, playing a big role in the Broncos' win. The Broncos face Minnesota and Texas on Sunday before heading back up north and hopefully they will come back with two more Ws! Stay tuned by following @scuwlax on Twitter to see what happens next.
