#1 Santa Clara vs. #16 West Chester

The Broncos return to Scottsdale ranked #1 in this year's National Championship Tournament Field.  They begin their tournament play tomorrow night at 8:30 PM (PST) versus #16 West Chester University.  The Broncos received the #1 seed and an automatic bid to this year's tournament after winning the Western Women's Lacrosse League Championship by a score of 12-6 over #3 ranked UC Santa Barabara.  West Chester received its league (East Coast Women's Lacrosse Association) automatic qualifier as well to gain entry to this year's tournament field and were then seeded #16 by the WDIA rankings committee.  This is the Bronco's sixth appearance at the National Championship event while it is West Chester's second.
