Broncos 2-0 on Southern California Swing

Santa Clara traveled to Central and Southern California this past weekend to face #5 Cal Poly and #19 USC.  They would return victorious after defeating Cal Poly by a score of 15-11 and USC 20-4.  In both games, the Broncos struggled with unforced turnovers that allowed both Cal Poly and USC to get back into the game after early 3-0 leads by the Broncos on both Saturday and Sunday.  The Broncos will work to fix their lethargic first half play this week in preparation for this Saturday's road game at #2 ranked UC Santa Barbara.  Santa Clara has not faced Santa Barbara since they lost to the Gauchos 12-10 last April in the WWLL Championship game.
