Santa Clara Flies East and Beats Pitt

The Broncos left Santa Clara this morning at 4:30 AM fresh off of spring break to fly to the East Coast and play Pittsburgh on their home turf at 10:00 PM tonight.  A long day of travel which included a long flight delay in Houston which backed the Broncos up on their arrival in Pitt definitely put the Broncos on their heals to start tonight's game.  Santa Clara quickly went down 4-0 and then gathered their composure to score the next 7 goals to go up 7-4.  Pitt scored a quick goal off of a lazy Santa Clara turnover with just over one minute remaining to make the game a 7-5 final. 

Santa Clara plays Penn State tomorrow at 3:00 and then Virginia Tech at 7:30.  Check back for more updates...
