Nationals Semi Final Game

The Cinderella run continued for 8th seed Santa Clara as they took down 4th seed Florida 10-5 in today's semifinal game in the US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates Championships. The Broncos will now face the winner of the other semifinal game between three-time defending national champion Cal Poly and Michigan on Saturday with the national title on the line. Santa Clara goalie Teresa Martini (14 saves) played a great second half and stopped any chance of a Florida rally as she turned away shot after shot. Freshman Rebecca Milo led the SC attack with four second half goals. Florida led 3-2 at halftime. CSTV (College Sports Television) will be airing the US Lacrosse WDIA Championship over Memorial Day Weekend with highlights of the championship game and the rest of the women's action from the week.
