MISSION

The Coastal Empire Select Teams are be made up of 20 of the top lacrosse players in the U-18 and U15 age groups.  Our mission is to create a team that will provide players with the best opportunity to improve their level of play by competing against top level competition in the Southeast.  We also strive to create an atmosphere that promotes giving 100% effort, 100% of the time on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.  We feel that our mentorship of your boys extends beyond the fields of play into life.

Our Team

• U-18 Select is open to Rising Seniors (2015), Juniors (2016), Sophomores (2017), and Freshman (2018)
• U-15 Select is open to boys in grades 7, 8, and 9.
• Open to players from Savannah, Hilton Head, Beaufort, and Bluffton
• 20 Players will be selected – 7 Middies, 5 Attack, 6 Defense (including LSM), 2 Goalies

• Coastal Empire Team Camp featuring Six Division 1 Coaches – June 5-8 – Savannah, GA (U-18 Only)
• Father’s Day Invitational – June 14 & 15 – Palm Coast, FL (U-18 & U15)
• Georgia Southern Shootout – July 12 & 13 – Gainesville, GA (U-18 & U15)

PRACTICE

Practice is the most important part of any Travel Team. This is the best opportunity for players to improve their individual and team skills. Many Travel Teams simply do not practice enough and think that the team will get better just by playing. We believe the opposite. Without the tools that are learned in practice, the tournament play will not be as beneficial for our players.

Practice Times:    Starting May 20 – Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 

U-18:  5pm – 6:30pm at Daffin Park

U-15:  4:30pm to 6pm at Daffin Park

TEAM CAMP FOR U-18 SELECT

The 3rd Annual Coastal Empire Lacrosse Team Camp is a destination for 4 Southeastern Teams by invitation only. This year we will have a team travelling from Miami, FL, a Select Team from Charleston, SC, our Coastal Empire Select Team, and a Myrtle Beach Select Team. The Team Camp features 6 Division 1 coaches who are assigned to each high school team and coaching staff to help mold the teams the same way that they mold their own Division 1 programs both through film sessions and individual practices. During the 4 day overnight camp, the teams will play 6 games; have 3 team practices, 2 film sessions, and 6 hours of individual instruction with all Division 1 coaches in attendance.

SELECT TEAM FEES

• U-18:  $1100 includes room and board for 4 Day/3 Night Team Camp, All Tourney Fees, Custom Uniforms and Game Apparel, Practice Shorts and Reversible, Field Rental, and two full time Coaches.
• U-15:  $600 includes All Tourney Fees, Custom Uniforms and Game Apparel, Practice Shorts and Reversible, Field Rental, and two full time Coaches.

PRACTICE TEAM FEES

• $400 includes all costs for practice, Custom Uniform and Game Apparel, and Practice Shorts and Reversible.  If you are invited to attend a tournament the cost to attend each tournament is $90.  If you would like to attend Camp, you will need to sign up and pay separately.

OTHER REQUIRMENTS

• Individual Players are responsible for transportation to and from events, hotel and food costs estimated at $75 per day.
• Team Staff will arrange for Team hotel and eating arrangements at all of the events.
• Individual Players must have all necessary equipment including Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, and Mouth Piece

CORPORATE SPONSOR PROGRAM

Our Corporate Sponsor Program is an opportunity that can help you offset the Team fees by soliciting donations from businesses that you may know.  The form suggests $100 increments, but you are not limited to $100 per business.  Programs like this have been very successful in helping players suplement the costs associated with travel teams.  Please click here for the Corporate Sponsor Form and benefits.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

• You may pay by Cash, Check, or Credit Card and can suplement your team fee with our Corporate Sponsors Program
• You may pay in full $1100 or in installments with the first $600 due by May 14 and remaining $500 due by June 1.

• If paying by Credit Card, please use the PayPal option below; there is a 3% convenience charge paid to paypal.  The dropdown options also allow for installments.
