Varsity Win on Senior Night vs. Stillwater
The Roseville Seniors started the game and the Raiders rolled out to a 4-0 lead part way into the second quarter. Stillwater answered with 2 goals in the second, but the Raiders got another just before the half. The only goal in the defense-oriented 3rd period was a short-handed goal for Roseville to leave the score 6-2 at the end of the 3rd. Stillwater got rather aggressive and chippy in the 4th quarter and ran off 3 goals to draw within 1, but Roseville scored the final goal leaving the scoreboard showing 7-5 for the home team. Stillwater drew double slashing penalties in the closing seconds as time ran out on the clock. Matt Anderson got 3 goals and 1 assist to Drew Liberkowski, who got 2 goals. Lou Deeny got 1 on an assist from Jeremy Suciu. The shorthanded goal in the 3rd was Van Oleseen from Triston Garbe. Jake Ross didn't face any shots on goal in a start between the pipes, and unofficially Colin Ethen had 8 saves on the night.
