Michigan State Beats the Panthers 10-9

The Panthers fell to Michigan State Unversity this past weekend with a final score of 9-10, MSU. #21 Joe Grmusa, a senior attackman, came onto the field with a strong presence during the first quarter, getting a hat trick within the first 9 minutes of the game. #2 Bryan Peck also contributed to the team substantially with an impressive fourth quarter shooting spree.

The first 5 Pittsburgh goals were scored early in the first quarter, kicking the game off with a strong start. Although MSU was able to take the lead during the second and third quarters, the Panthers did not stop fighting. With an impressive fourth quarter comeback, Pitt managed to put in 4 more goals, ending the game with a one-point deficit, final score 9-10.
