Subject: Spring 2013 Season

We, the University of Pittsburgh Men’s Lacrosse Team, are writing you, our fans, to talk about our upcoming spring 2013 season. We are going to need all the support we can get from you this spring. We are off to a great start in the pre-season as MCLA ranked us number 9 for the upcoming year. Not only have we moved up in the rankings since last year, but also our very own Tyler Novotny, senior attacker, was named All MCLA pre-season Player of the Year.

This year we were also fortunate enough to bring in two new coaches. Jack Dumsa, former MCLA All Conference and All American player, joined our staff and has been working to further improve our offensive skills. We also welcomed former college lacrosse player Kris Stanford, who has been helping our team improve our overall speed and agility skills. We have been training hard for the past six months, and we know we will finish on top this year. That being said we cannot do it without your support. Whether it be through cheering us on at our games, attending our tournaments, sending in donations, advertising for us, or just wishing us the best of luck; you are all an integral part of who we are, and how we perform. We hope to make you proud over the next few months. Thank you for all of your support, we look forward to seeing you soon. Hail to Pitt!
