Bio: Alex Perry is a native of Odessa, Texas who picked up lacrosse in a move to Columbus, Ohio in 2000, and earned 2 varsity lacrosse Letters at Olentangy High School, and 2 more varsity letters while serving as captain on the first team at the newly opened Olentangy Liberty High School. Since being introduced to the sport, Alex has been involved will lacrosse at all levels as a player, coach, and official, and has been is involved in the business side of the sport previousy with 1Lacrosse and MCLA the Lax Mag, and currenlty with Dick's Sporting Goods. After graduation from High School, Alex attended and founded the MCLA program at the University of Oklahoma, and served as a captain and president for three years, player/coach for one year, and the team's defensive coordiantor in his final season with the Sooners. While living in Oklahoma, Alex also helped to establish, build, and coach youth lacrosse in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and directed the Oklahoma Face-Off Classic and the Tulsa Oktoberlax Fall Lacrosse tournaments. Perry moved to Pittsburgh in the spring of 2010 after graduating from college, where he joined the Pitt Lacrosse coaching staff, looking to help build the program on and off the field.
