Mission LAX Santa Barbara Membership Fees Reduced For Spring & Summer 2015

The number of required tournaments has been reduced and the budget for summer 2015 has been revised for the inaugural season for Mission Lacrosse Club Santa Barbara. The result is a reduction in dues to $750.00 per player for the girls who would like to play but couldn't afford the original $1,200.

It is important to note that travel to and from tournaments will be in family vehicles or friends of family vehicles. The cost of insurance coverage for Mission coaches to drive minors is prohibitive for the program at this time. Players will meet us at the team hotel and/or at the fields for each of the two tournaments. A bonus for Missions Lacrosse players are two private lessons included in the fee.

Mission LAX players will be giving back to lacrosse in the form of coaching 3rd & 4th grade girls in local youth programs. Details for helping out during SBYLA summer and programs will be provided at a later date. Mission Lacrosse Club players being role models for younger girls learning to become lacrosse players will be an integral part of being in the club. The inaugural SBYLA program has sixty-seven 3rd - 6th grade girls playing lacrosse after school in Goleta and Santa Barbara.

The first practice is Saturday, May 16th, at UCSB on the turf.
