LAXVILLE 2013

Welcome to the home of Laxville...a premier high school competitive travel lacrosse program committed to developing, expanding and showcasing Kentucky lacrosse.  In our fourth year, and building off the success of our previous Senior and Junior campaigns, we are deeply dedicated to our core principles of hands-on coaching and direct instruction, coupled with a competitive schedule of tournament and camp travel throughout the summer. 

With an experienced staff of nine coaches and seven intern coaches (including current collegiate players), concentrated across three teams this year, Laxville Senior (U-19), Laxville Junior (U-17) and Laxville Rising (U-15), we will continue our goal of fast-paced, well-planned practices, stressing fundamentals and including game-like situations.  Our coaches are always teaching...even in games.  All three teams practice at the same time (and in some situations, together) so players from all squads will get the benefit of the entire staff.  There will be 13 practices over the summer, sandwiched around a challenging schedule of 4 tournaments and/or team camps for each team. 

TRYOUTS WILL BE CONDUCTED AS FOLLOWS:

We posted our schedule for practices and scrimmages under the vertical Practice Schedule link, and tournaments for the Summer of 2013 under the horizontal Schedules Link, so that parents can make tentative plans accordingly. Additionally, for all returning veterans, we wanted all players to have a sneak peek. The location of our tryouts will be Louisville Collegiate Champions Trace Fields and our practices will be held at Louisville Soccer Park.  Team fees, as well as individual tournament fees are listed under the vertical Fees Link.  Please make note of the fees involved.   

Included below are links to the 2013 Tryout Waiver forms, Player Contract and Waiver form to the first tournament (Lax-n-Nati).  Please complete ALL Tryout forms and bring with you to the tryouts.  If you make the roster or alternate, then you will need to complete the Player Contract and Lax-n-Nati waiver and bring with you to the first practice.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LAXVILLE SENIOR TEAM FOR 6TH PLACE FINISH IN THE 2012 DICK'S SPORTING GOODS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS.

Competing in the Elite Division of the Dick's Sporting Goods TOC in Wesley Chapel, FL over December 29, 30 and 31, 2012, Laxville Sr. Elite team finished 3-4 overall and in 6th place out of 10 teams.  Falling 11-6 to Mesa Fresh (PA) in the final game of the tournament, Laxville was victorious over AOD Richmond (VA), The Heat (MI) and Carolina Flight (NC), and lost twice to Sweet Lax, once to Burnaby (BC Canada) and the Mesa Fresh squad.

Laxville qualified for the TOC by winning the Warrior La-n-nati tournament last June.  

 Thanks to all players and parents for attending, and lets see if we can't qualify more of our teams again in 2013!!!
