Jimmy Luckino Commits to VMIOct. 2, 2007 Jimmy Luckino Commits to VMI Senior attachman Jimmy Luckino will play NCAA Div. 1 lacrosse at Virginia Military Institute following graduation in 2008. VMI is the nation's oldest state-supported military college, founded in 1839 in Lexington, Virginia, and is located at the southern end of the Shenandoah Valley. VMI offers qualified young men and women a demanding combination of academic study and rigorous military training that exists nowhere else, and grants B.A. and B.S. degrees in fourteen disciplines within the general fields of engineering, science, and liberal arts. The VMI Keydets play lacrosse in the Metro Atlantic Conference along with Siena, Canisius, Providence, Marist, St. Joseph's, Manhatten, Mount Saint Mary's (Pat Brown, WKHS '07) and Wagner. In 2008, VMI will also play Army, Navy, Virginia and Bellarmine (Andrew Wolford, WKHS '06). Congratulations Jimmy!
