Nick Beattie Commits to Notre Dame
Nick Beattie Commits to Notre Dame Captain Nick Beattie has committed to Notre Dame to continue his lacrosse career following graduation in 2008. As a Junior this past season, Nick lead the Wolves to the Div. 1 State Semifinals with a team high 47 goals. He was also selected first team All-State and first team All-Midwest in 2007. Nick will join one of the top collegiate lacrosse programs in the country at Notre Dame. LaxPower ranked the Fighting Irish No. 3 nationally in 2007 with an 11-4 record. Notre Dame has also qualified for the NCAA Div. I Tournament 10 times since 1990 and has ended the year ranked in the Top 20 the past five seasons. They play in the Great Western Lacrosse League (GWLL) along with Ohio State, Air Force, Bellarmine (Andrew Wolford, WKHS '06), Denver and Quinnipiac (Roger Fish, WKHS '04). Congratulations Nick!
