Wolves Come Up Short Against Upper Arlington In Nailbiter Kilbourne lost to Upper Arlington 5-6 in a back-and-forth affair on Saturday night. The game lived up to the history of the rivalry. The Wolves fell behind 3-0 early but fought back to make it 3-2 at the end of the first quarter. The teams traded shots, hits and goals from there and were all tied 4-4 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Wolves netted a goal to pull ahead 5-4 in front of an electric crowd. UA answered with an equalizer. With the score tied 5-5 late in the fourth quarter, the UA Bears got a man-up opportunity on a penalty call in the midfield. The Bears scored on the man advantage to take the lead 6-5. Kilbourne launched a strong last frenzy with several shots just missing the cage and UA held on for the one goal win. The Wolves play at Delaware Hayes Tuesday this week and host Cincinnati Moeller on Saturday. Upper Arlington v. Kilbourne April 14, 2018
