With three losses in the past week, the Wolves dropped from No. 2 to No. 7 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Midwest Regional Poll. Here are this week's results:

Midwest Region Top 10 - May 6, 2014

1. Culver Academy (Ind.), 19-0
The Eagles put up another big weekend, with a pair of double-digit victories over Upper Arlington (Ohio) and Dublin Jerome (Ohio). Culver Academy has scored 16-plus goals in 12 straight games.

2. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 9-2
The Ramblers play one last road game, a tough trip to Northbrook, Ill., and then end with a three-game home-stand. Their final four opponents have a combined 51-12 record.

3. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 10-2
The Golden Bears may be playing their best lacrosse of the season, earning a tough low-scoring victory at Mason (Ohio), then easily downing Olentangy (Ohio), before scoring seven goals on a Culver Academy (Ind.) squad that has blitzed through the region this year and finally getting revenge on Worthington Kilbourne (Ohio).

4. Dublin Jerome (Ohio), 10-2
The Celtics' defense has generally been very good, surrendering 41 goals over nine games. The problem is in the other three, against Upper Arlington (Ohio), New Trier (Ill.) and Culver Academy (Ind.), Dublin Jerome gave up 39.

5. New Trier (Ill.), 9-6
The Trevians have won three straight and seven of nine. After a difficult start against stout out-of-state competition, New Trier has established itself as one of the state's top teams, with wins against Lake Forest (Ill.) and Evanston Township (Ill.).

6. Brother Rice (Mich.), 10-3
The Warriors will carry some positive momentum into the postseason, likely entering on a four-game winning streak. They've had to eek out a few, with tight wins over Carmel (Ind.) and Detroit Country Day (Mich.).

7. Worthington Kilbourne (Ohio), 10-3
The Wolves' tough schedule, with six of seven games against 10-win teams, seems to have finally gotten to them. Worthington Kilbourne has lost three straight, but all by competitive margins against top-line teams.

8. MICDS (Mo.), 13-2
The Rams have allowed 26 goals over their last seven games, an average of just 3.7 per game. A seven-game win streak should turn into nine games as the season rounds out.

9. Clarkston (Mich.), 11-1
The Wolves haven't lost since Opening Day and are averaging 15.2 goals per game over their last six.

10. Carmel (Ind.), 11-3
The Greyhounds have galloped onto the list with wins in eight of their last nine, and their only loss coming by a single goal to longtime regional power Brother Rice (Mich.). Most recently, they tripled up on a Cincinnati St. Xavier (Ohio) squad that beat them earlier this season
