Coach Moore is from Worthington, Ohio - a northern suburb of Columbus. A long time baseball guy, he found lacrosse as a junior in high school. In his first seaon the team finished Runners-Up in both the State and the Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Championships. He was a team co-captain his senior year. Coach Moore played four years of lacrosse in college for the Miami University club team in Oxford, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminsistration from The Ohio State University after a late college transfer from Miami University. After graduation Coach Moore spent 9 years in Chicago, IL, most of it employed in the mortagge banking industry. He remained active with lacrosse and played for the Northside Tribe of the Midwest Cities Lacrosse Conference (MCLC) - a post collegiate men's league with 14 teams in five states. Coach Moore joined Ballard Lacrosse as a volunteer coach in 2009 after relocating to Louisville, KY. He became the Head Coach begining with the 2011 season - Ballard finished as State Runners-Up in Division II. He resides in the East end of Louisville with his wife, Jennifer (a Ballard alumni), and two children, Hayden and Maddox.
