Vikings defeat host Aggies

In an early morning contest, on a chilly, dew soaked field, the Vikings defeated their hosts 3-2 in a very close, exciting game.  UC Davis scored first.  While man up, Jake McIntyre scored by diving at the crease and "cue-ing" the ball into the goal with his stick.  Cory Callahan, in his first game since his injury versus Simon Fraser added the second goal toward the end of the first half, and the Vikings held that lead at halftime.  Just a few minutes after the second half started, midfielder Chris Banks scored what would prove to be the winning goal.  UC Davis scored the final goal of the game, but it was not enough, as the Vikings prevailed 3-2.
