Vikings fall 10-9

In a tune-up scrimmage with ClifBar Men's Club prior to the season opener with San Jose State on 9/26, the Vikings front lines headed into the fourth quarter with a 7-6 lead, built the lead to 9-6 with 12 minutes remaining in the game.  Satisfied with the outstanding play, and knowing that we will need all of our players during the season, Coach Wallahan began rotating players into the game, during which ClifBar took full advantage and scored four unanswered goals in the final 11 minutes and 30 seconds to secure their victory.  The Vikings are primed and ready to roll into the season, next Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. with the Spartans.
