Vikings defeat UOP

During one stretch of the game, the Vikings scored 14 consecutive goals in route to a 22-4 victory over the UOP Tigers.  Early in the first quarter UOP and DVC fought to a 2-2 tie.  After that it was all Vikings as 13 players tallied a total of 20 more goals, and the defense smothered the UOP offense for most of the game.  Next up is a tremendous test for the Vikings as Simon Fraser University, now a NCAA Division II lacrosse program, and who the Vikings defeated last year in a very physical game, come back to Viking Field seeking revenge.  This game will be streamed live at http://www.ustream.tv/search?q=Diablo+Valley+College+Athletics if you can't make it in person.
