7/8 Nick Aitchison Memorial Tournament

The 7/8 tournament team is in action today, Sunday 5/6 in Caledonia at the Nick Aitchison Memorial Tournament.

They beat DeWitt 8-0 in the first game of the day.

In the second game they beat host Caledonia 4-2.

In the third game they beat Northside 9-2

Into the semi-finals as the #1 Seed:

They won 7-1 against West Ottawa

Rockford beat Lowell in the other semi-final game.

Finals:

Spring Lake vs. Rockford

Down 8-3 at halftime

Down 10-5 in 3rd qtr

Lost 10-9 with a couple of last minute shots to even the score. Great effort Lakers! We are proud of your success and effort today!!
