PSU Surges Into Top Ten in Polls
Following their exciting win over Towson, the Nittany Lions locked up a spot in the CAA Championship Playoffs and also leaped into the top 10 in both of the national polls. The Lions come in at No. 9 in both the USILA Coach's Poll and the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. This marks the first time in program history that Penn State has had three weeks ranked ninth or better. Earlier this season, the Nittany Lions spent two weeks at eighth following a win over current USILA No. 1 Denver on Feb. 17 and a loss to current No. 3 Notre Dame on Feb. 24.
