Nick began his lacrosse career as a long stick midfielder at the Lovett School in Atlanta, GA .  His senior year he led his team in ground balls and received the coveted Ground Ball King Award.  After being named to Georgia's All-State team, he helped Lovett to win the 2008 GHSA lacrosse state championship.  Heavily recruited out of high school, Stonecipher chose to attend the University of Kentucky and play for their club lacrosse team.  His freshman year he was moved to close defense and again received the award for most ground balls.  Outside of lacrosse he enjoys expressing himself through various art forms such as painting, cooking, and dance.  Now in his Junior year at Kentucky, Stonecipher hopes to help the wildcats make it to the MCLA playoffs for the first time as a club.
