Hogtowne outlasts Rollins College in scrimmage.

The Lacrosse Club of Hogtowne took the field for the first time in the 2008/2009 season against the Rollins College Tars for a 25 min running half scrimmage.  The Mooks opened the scoring when midfielder Jeff Rant beat his man and fed a cutting Brian Montgomery.  Rollins would answer to tied the game.  Hogtowne scored the next two to take a 3-1 lead.  The first on man-up and the second attackman Danny Stevens picked up a ground ball and finished on a broken Rollins clear.

Rollins would fight back to take a 4-3 lead with three straight goals.  Hogtowne goals from midfielder Brian Barros and attackman Danny Hogan, along with another Rollins score, left the game tied at 5 heading into the break.

Hogtowne would outscore Rollins 3-1 in the 2nd half as Attackman Tony Williams and Danny Stevens each added flashy finishes from the inside.  Hogtowne is next in action Saturday October 25th against the Knights of UCF.
