HLC comes back to beat Tampa Thunder 8-6

The Tampa Thunder drew first blood and lead for the entire first half in Gainesville on Saturday. Hogtowne was able to rally from a 5-4 deficit at half and won 8-6. Strong performances on defense from Scott Ramey, Chris Capizzi, Aamad Chaudrey and Mark Furey. The goalie combo of Bryan Moskowitz and Jeff Goren saw a lot of shots and did a great job getting in front of them.  Goren held the Thunder scoreless in the 2nd half, the only goal he gave up was an own-goal by defender Aamad Chaudrey. Hogtowne's offense was led by Danny Hogan (4g, 1a) and Brian Barros (1g, 1a). Goalie Jeff Goren was named Montezuma Player of the Week. Hogtowne is now 3-0 and leads the FLL North Division. Next game is the return trip to Tampa on December 9 for a double header with the Tampa Thunder and the Tampa Bandits.
