April Fools in Savannah

GLC traveled short-handed to Savannah for a double header against the Pirates from Coastal Empire Lacrosse Club and Columbia County (formerly Aiken-Augusta). Our first game was against CCLC and was never in doubt as we jumped into a quick lead that ended 11-0 giving our goalie his first shutout of the season. After a 15 minute break, we faced a much stronger and well rested Savannah squad. The game was close throughout, but we lost 9-11 giving up several man-down situations in the closing quarter.
