2012-2013 Parent Handbook

Raider Lacrosse Family,

                 Welcome to yet another exciting season of Raider lacrosse.  Please take a few moments to review the AHS Men's Lacrosse Handbook 2012-2013 Parent Handbook . This document outlines anything and everything having to do with Raider Lacrosse.  Whether you are new to the program, a four year senior, or still in middle school this document has been developed to answer all of your questions about our program as well as to update you on all current policies, procedures, and expectations.  Important additions to this year's parent handbook include the following:

                -Explanation about our team required helmets

                -An explanation of making Lacrosse your yearly activity

                -Conditioning/Weight training expectations

                -Fall Ball and Summer Team expectations

                -Travel Team expectations

                -Newly Revised Academic Integrity policy

                -Recruiting Guidelines

                A few important reminders:

-All high school athletes will be required to purchase the new team helmet this year.  Discounted prices will be available for pre-order in the fall.

-All high school athletes will be expected to participate in our Fall Ball teams, more information to follow in August.

-All high school athletes who do not participate in a fall or winter sport must participate in our Lifetime program which will run from September through January.

-All JV and Varsity athletes will be required to participate in training at LTF during the regularly scheduled 2013 season.
