The RoswellHigh School Boys Lacrosse Program
presents
Run Over Leukemia
Bone Marrow
Transplant Awareness
5K Fun Run
May 9, 2009
Last week,
Evan Walker, one of our tenth grade students and lacrosse players was diagnosed
with Leukemia. Evan and his family have a long and difficult road ahead
of them. In order to raise awareness for this disease, the Roswell
boy’s lacrosse program is sponsoring a 5K run/walk and marrow testing drive.
Our goal is to provide an event that will bring the community together
from various schools and athletic programs in order to support this young man
and his family, as well as the countless other people afflicted with this
disease. By having your marrow tested, you will be placed on the national
registry and may be able to save a life. Please join us on May 9 at RoswellHigh School for the
run/walk and/or to have your bone marrow tested. Please see attached
flyer for additional information. Feel free to forward to anyone and
everyone. Thank you, Alex Chrzanowski
