Team Service Opportunity
The Raider Lacrosse team is participating in the Claire's Challenge 5K Run to raise funds for Claire Stewart, an AHS student who suffered a critical head injury in a motorcycle accident this summer. Our goal is 100% participation among players and significant support from parents. We know that work, other events, etc. will conflict for a number of players, but we are urging everyone to do your best to support this event. Bagataway games are Saturday afternoon and Sunday, so they should not pose a problem. SATs are Saturday which will be a conflict for some players. When: Saturday, October 4th Time: 7:30 am Where: Starts at Windward Lake Club Donation: $15 per runner with early registration by September 27th $20 per runner after September 27th All runners entered by the early registration date will receive a t-shirt. The event also includes a 1K fun run for kids or other family members who wish to participate, but do not wish to run 5K. Many parents plan to walk the event as an alternative to running. We also ask that you wear your team jersey or other Raider apparel during the run.
