Notice to Seniors - National Senior Showcase
Mar. 4, 2008 The selection process is underway for the National Senior Showcase game. The game, as many of you know, is the National High School All-Star game hosted by US Lacrosse. Each year one Georgia player is selected to participate on the South team. Last year, John Tew of Milton High School played. The year prior Neal Hicks from Lovett was the South team MVP. We would like our best players nominated and, if selected, they must be able to attend. The timeline is quick this year. The player MUST be a senior. The game will be in Chicago this year from June 20-22. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the player.
In order to be considered the player must go the the US Lacrosse website, www.uslacrosse.org, and download the application, fill it out, have it signed by the head coach and MAIL it to me with a $10 application fee by WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 2008. This information gets forwarded by Wednesday, March 19 to US lacrosse and they select the player they want to invite. The roster will be announced April 22.
