Coach Smith is the Head Coach of the Jr Raiders team which is comprised of th, 7th and 8th graders who are planning on playing Lacrosse for Alpharetta High School. During last year's inaugural season the team posted an 8-3 record against Alpharetta's geographical foes: Milton, Roswell, Northview, Chattahoochee and Centennial.

Coach Smith has coached youth lacrosse for 4 seasons and has been a youth football, and soccer coach for 8 years. Coach Smith played football and ran track in high school and was recruited to play Division III football. He enrolled at West Virginia University and walked on to the track team. He has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from WVU and an MBA from Auburn University.
Coach Smith currently lives in Windward with his wife, Tammy, and sons: Zachary is a freshman at AHS and Collin is a 7^th grader at Fulton Science Academy. Jeff is employed by Advanced Control Systems in Norcross, GA as the Director of Operations and Services.
