Ben Mostowy JV Coach Email:

Coach Mostowy joined the AHS staff in 2006.   Now in his 3^rd season as JV Head Coach, he led the JVs to their 1^st winning record (7-6) in their 2^nd season and looks forward to continued success in 2008.   He also serves as an assistant on coach Scheifflee’s staff in running the very successful AHS Raider LAX summer camp hosted annually at AHS.   As a certified Community Coach by the GHSA, his goal is to develop each JV team player with the skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and winning attitude that will take them to the next level of lacrosse with the varsity squad.  His experience includes many years of coaching and officiating Youth/HS/Adult ice hockey, and girl’s softball leagues in Stamford, Connecticut prior to relocating to Alpharetta in 1991.  Since then he has coached Alpharetta girls softball, Alpharetta youth football, lacrosse, Chattahoochee football and lacrosse feeder teams and spent 3 seasons with the AHS ice hockey team.  Coach Mostowy is presently a Sr. Sales Engineer for Qwest Communications in Alpharetta.  Prior to his telecommunications career he served aboard the USS Constellation, in the aviation field of the U.S. Navy.
