Christian, in his own words:
What are your strengths/where are you most comfortable?
“I love transition. I love using my athleticism all over the field in between the lines, on offense and on defense. Shooting has become a major focus for me in my training. I want to be comfortable from any angle.”
What’s your first thought when stepping on the field?
“I’m always asking myself if I’ve prepared myself for this moment and if I have, how can I anticipate the next play.”
What motivates you?
“My entire life, my dad has been my motivation. He wakes up at 3:00AM every morning, happy as can be to start a new day. He never complains and he’s always been incredibly supporting of our family. His work ethic is my motivation.”
Anyone that you want to mention that has gotten you to where you are?
“My coaches are incredibly important to my development as a player. Coach Kenny, coach Gravitt, coach Rick, coach Campo, coach Hochstadt and the rest of the Adrenaline company have been there for me at every step.”
3d Rising Evaluation: Coachability? Check. Versatility? Check. Do it all and then do it all going backwards? Definitely. Air Force picked up one of the biggest pocket aces of all time. To think that a prospect in the Top 30 could come from Las Vegas is very uncommon, but neither is this freak of nature athlete. (His highlight film is like watching Reggie Bush play Massachusetts high school football.) Christian has been wowing us on YouYube since his U-13 days and has consistently wowed coaches all across the country with his ability to impress with players two, three, and even four years older than him. He’s a do it all player, from facing off, playing the wings, playing offense and even putting a stop to you on defense all on the same shift—that’s Christian’s game. He’ll wear you down, minute by minute.
If I’m Coach: If I’m Eric Seremet, I’m going to let Christian do his thing. If he doesn’t play right away in anything we do, I’ll be shocked. The only obstacle we’ll have is getting him to play 100 mph in all his versatility in the Colorado Springs altitude. He’s going to add to the already versatile roster that Air Force has. He’s the type of player that becomes the heart and soul of a team. He doesn’t understand any other button on the PlayStation controller than the “turbo” key.
