Matt played midfield for SUNY Plattsburgh … captained the team as a senior. He played high school lacrosse at Lindenhurst where he earned seven letters in lacrosse (3), football (3) and basketball (1)…all-Suffolk County football player…scored 60 goals and 60 assists during prep career. He is currently a teacher in the Northport-East Northport School District.

Coach Maes attended SUNY Plattsburgh where he received a Bachelor’s
degree in Elementary Education. While attending Plattsburgh, Coach
Maes was a member of the men’s lacrosse team where he was named to the
All SUNYAC team his junior and senior seasons. He finished his college
career with 38 goals and 58 assists.

Holds Professional Coaching License from the New York State Education Department
