Billy graduated from Cabrini College in 2008, played at Northport High School on Long Island. While at NHS they were New York State champions in 2001, Long Island Champs in 2002. As a senior Billy was named defensive MVP and received All-Suffolk County honors in both football and lacrosse. At Cabrini College he started as a freshman, setting the defenseman scoring record and receiving first team all conference honors three out of four years. As a senior captain Billy helped Cabrini reach their first NCAA tournament home game, receiving honorable mention, All American honors, he also played in the D3 North-South senior all star game. Holds Professional Coaching License from the New York State Education Department
