The #14 SOU Men's Lacrosse Team travelled to Davis, CA for a Friday Night clash with #17 the UC-Davis Aggies.    After having been stuck for almost 3 hours at a CA Rest area with a broken down bus the RaiderHawks for ready to play.  Sophmore #17 Garrett Greenway started the scoring off for the Raiders followed by Jr. Captain #29 Spencer Pregal assisted by Freshman #10 Hayden Hupfer to make the score 2-0 at the end of the first.

Sr. Face-off Specialist Harley Humphrey was at it again winning 16 of 21.  The 2nd qt. would have 3 different goal scorers for the Raiders as Sr. Captains #23 Harrison and #7 Feldman would each put one in while Freshman #94 Connor Mason put in two of his career high five goals.  SOU led 6-2 at the half.

SOU's ride was a key factor in the game, successfully stopping the Aggies from clearing 23 out of 39 attempts.  SOU also showed effort outworking Davis for 32 groundballs to their 21.

The Raiders really picked it up in the 3rd qt. outscoring the Aggies 5-1 with 4 different Raiders scoring the 5 goals.  #94 and #17 both completed their hat tricks making it 11-3 at the end of the 3rd.

#23 Harrison made it back to back games scoring hat tricks as he put in the final tally of the game.  Harrison also caused 8 turnovers, and picked up 6 GB's.  Sr. Captain Sam Taylor was also a force on the defensive end causing 7 turnovers and grabbing 4 GB's.

Final Score 14-6 Raiders!

Game ball goes to #94 Connor Mason for his career high 5 goals.  Considering this is only his 2nd collegiate game and he has tallied 9 goals so far this might not be a career high for that long.

Next up for the Raiders is a neutral site clash with #12 Cal St.- Fullerton at Granite Bay Highschool on Saturday at 3pm.
